Lessons learned from the fitness front:
- If you are a stress eater and revamp your diet, detoxifying your body will occur. I am sure there are many scientific ways to describe how your diet impacts your overall feeling of health; however, I doubt you expected to find scientific explanations on Savvy Seats. I will just say diet adjustments have yielded a feeling of exhaustion. I was prepared to feel hungry during the first two weeks, but not tired. Maybe this is a sign my body is tired of being a walking pendulum of fitness trials. This also could be a sign that recognizing Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups as a food group, isn’t wise.
-Don’t laugh during the first two minutes of a fitness video. Chances are, if you laugh, the video is going to totally kick your hiney. I love YouTube and searched for a pirated version of Yoga Booty Ballet. I first thought the instructors were a bit silly and the moves jerky…one had two buns on her head…but soon discovered the exercises meant serious business. I can already feel burning in the lower extremities.
-When you need advice about snacks or energy, remember to use the trenches! My friends are already the best and savviest; however, they also can tell me about their experiences and suggested foods. In my book, that means they are even more valuable than ever! Remember to glean great tips from your gal/guy pals. I asked one question via Fecebook and ended up with new strategies for getting in water (fill a large container and finish it before work is over) and great suggestions for snacks and energy bars.
